smart

Smart history as a band began on december 2004, when Martin called Juan and Max to begin a pop music project called "Sindrome Estocolmo". Martin had written 5 songs and the trio began the rehearsals with Matías on drums temporarily until they could find a drummer. The band recorded a basic demo, but months after that, Juan left them. In november 2005, Nicolás joined Martin and Max to continue the project, but this time with a different name: "smart". smart performed acoustic for the first time at SKAL during a friend´s gathering. On march 3rd, 2006, smart performed it's first public concert at The Cavern Club Buenos Aires with Gustavo Goyheneche as invited musician on drums. On july 14th, 2006, now with new material and arrangements of the songs, smart presented again in The Cavern Club. On july 28th, 2006, the band performed an acoustic set at Palermo radio station restaurant and recorded Palermo radio acoustic sessions. On october 2006, Ariel joined the band and on december 2006 smart recorded the "official demo" that you can listen here.
